A native to St. Augustine, Craig M. Herzog got his start in the title insurance industry when he received a job offer from one of the partners of Independent Title. At the time, he knew nothing about title insurance and what title companies did. Over the past 30 years he has developed a deep understanding in title insurance and has become an expert in his field, rising through the ranks of a highly successful title company in St. Augustine. Craig is now the owner and operator of Action Title Services of St. Johns County, Inc and has been for the past 17 years.

With over 30 years of experience, Craig is well regarded with his business partners. He has an immense knowledge of the title insurance industry and a wealth of understanding of all the vast market changes. His company offers real estate closing and escrow services and he can resolve complex title issues quickly and correctly. Along with his commitment to excellent customer service, Craig has gained a well-deserved reputation within the real estate community for accurate and on schedule closings. He can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still delivering the best closing experience in the industry.

In 2016, Craig passed the Florida Land Title Association’s Certification Land – Title Closer Exam. This prestigious designation is only held by a few elite title insurance agents in the entire state of Florida, which further affirms that he is foremost in the field in knowledge and professionalism.

David, originally from upstate New York and a graduate of SUNY Binghamton, relocated to Florida in 1998. Previously serving as the controller of a New York consulting firm, he leveraged his extensive accounting and marketing expertise as the Business Manager of a successful title company in St. Augustine. At Action Title, David continues to oversee all aspects of accounting, operations, and business management, ensuring smooth fiscal operations.

Jessica, a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, has dedicated over 20 years to the title insurance industry. As a licensed title agent and seasoned closer, she possesses extensive knowledge of potential title issues and is deeply committed to assisting buyers and sellers with their significant investments. Raised in St. Johns County, Jessica is now raising her own family with the hope that they too will actively engage in their community. Her dedication to the community and to each transaction she manages is unwavering. With experience as a title agent, closer, escrow officer, and office manager, Jessica brings a wealth of expertise to Action Title, ensuring a smooth and efficient closing process.

Jenny, a native of St. Augustine, brings over 30 years of combined experience in the financial and title insurance industries. Since beginning her career in 1998, she has built a strong foundation in the title industry. Jenny is well-known for her unwavering commitment to treating customers with respect and dignity, and her effective communication skills ensure customer service excellence. As an Escrow Officer, she oversees the entire closing process, from examining the title commitment to preparing closing documents and coordinating all details with realtors, lending institutions, brokers, buyers, and sellers. Jenny’s extensive knowledge of the title insurance industry and various aspects of the company makes her the cornerstone of the business, ensuring the integrity of each closing.

Nick joined the Action Title Team after 17 years as a licensed loan originator and processor. His extensive mortgage experience allows him to bring meticulous attention to detail to every closing. As your escrow officer, Nick will manage the entire closing process, from examining the title commitment to preparing closing documents and coordinating all details with realtors, lending institutions, brokers, buyers, and sellers to ensure a smooth transaction. His background in lending and loan processing provides him with invaluable communication skills for working with business partners. Nick is currently working towards becoming a licensed Florida title agent. He is also a long-time resident of St. Augustine and an active community member.

Wendy has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry as a licensed agent and loan originator. Her background in working with buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders facilitated a seamless transition into the title side of the business. Wendy places the highest importance on her responsibility to clients and prides herself on delivering impeccable customer service. She thrives in the fast-paced environment at Action Title, ensuring each transaction is completed accurately and on schedule. Wendy is currently working towards obtaining her Florida Title Agent License. Originally from New England, she has enjoyed living in St. Augustine since moving there with her family in 2003.

Joan’s previous experience at a local boutique law firm specializing in real estate has honed her exceptional attention to detail. As an escrow officer, she enjoys interacting with realtors, lenders, and customers. Being a native of the area, Joan upholds a high standard of professionalism within her community and is eager to assist with your next transaction. She always greets customers with a smile every day.

Erica entered the title industry in 2019 while completing a marketing internship with a local real estate company as part of her BS degree in Communications and Media Studies. She likens her job to solving a puzzle, where she must piece everything together while vigilantly preventing fraud and resolving title issues. In 2021, Erica became a licensed title agent and escrow officer. By joining Action Title in 2024, she has elevated the standard of professionalism and streamlined quality service for all customers. Her goal is to ensure customer satisfaction at the closing table, extending into the lasting comfort of home ownership.

Sally joined Action Title in 2020. She manages files post-closure by organizing them, recording documents, and typing policies. With her extensive experience in the title industry, she enjoys assisting wherever needed and is always eager to expand her knowledge. Sally views every transaction as a learning opportunity, bringing meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to professionalism to each file.

Darlene became a part of Action Title in 2021, where she primarily manages order intake and file archiving. With extensive experience in supporting daily operations, she genuinely enjoys assisting wherever needed and is always enthusiastic about learning new things.
